Description:

We are seeking experienced Plant, Tool and Equipment Technicians to contribute to the construction of the UK's first 3rd generation nuclear power plant. This role involves overseeing maintenance and management of plant, tools, and equipment for the MEH Alliance.
Responsibilities include:
1. Repairing and managing on-site plant tools and equipment.
2. Providing familiarization to teams on the use of PTE and ensuring standards are maintained.
3. Offering feedback and suggestions for improvements in PTE management and products.
This position involves manual work, including lifting, bending, using tools, and standing for extended periods. It is based on-site at Hinkley Point C, working 38 hours per week.
Requirements:
* 2+ years’ experience as a Plant, Tool and Equipment Technician.
* Experience with small tools, plant maintenance, electrical and mechanical knowledge.
* Understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations, LEV, Welding, calibration, and IT systems.
* Qualifications such as Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, Level 2 Automotive Servicing & Repair, Level 3 Apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Service, NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance, or Level 3 in Mechatronics.
* CCNSG safety passport prior to starting.
* Ability to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance.
