DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer
Location: South Coast (Hybrid)
Contract: 6-12 Months
We are supporting a Defence client on a requirement for a DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer to deliver critical infrastructure capability across secure environments.
This role sits within a high-priority programme focused on enhancing resilience, scalability, and security across mission-critical systems.
The Role
You will design, build, and support secure infrastructure across a complex environment, ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and aligned to operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions
2. Support cloud and on-prem environments
3. Maintain and improve system performance and resilience
4. Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams
5. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
6. Support automation and infrastructure as code
Key Requirements
7. Active DV Clearance (essential)
8. Strong experience in infrastructure engineering within secure environments
9. Experience across Windows/Linux environments
10. Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or private cloud)
11. Knowledge of virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
12. Experience with networking, storage, and security principles
Desirable
13. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
14. Experience in Defence or National Security environments
15. Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
