Joining us in CFO Solutions – Finance Placements
Grant Thornton’s CFO Solutions team provides strategic, transformation and execution support for CFOs. The Finance Placements team offers an on‑demand, project‑focused accounting service, deploying interim finance professionals into client finance functions.
During projects you’ll work with finance teams across diverse organisations, from large SMEs to multi‑billion corporations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide interim financial accounting support on short‑to‑medium term projects.
* Prepare half and full‑year‑end accounts, audit liaison and monthly management accounts.
* Consolidate group accounts and manage intercompany accounting.
* Prepare and ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or other international GAAP.
* Prepare year‑end statutory accounts and audits.
Skills We Are Looking For
* Fully qualified member of a professional accounting body such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
* Experience working within industry, with a company turnover minimum of £50m+, ideally a listed FTSE business or a top 20 practice in financial/statutory accounting capacity.
* Experience of half and full‑year‑end accounts preparation, audit liaison and preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting.
* Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or international GAAP.
* Preparation of year‑end statutory accounts and audits.
