Kering - Payroll Manager UK & I - London

Key Responsibilities
* Manage 20 payrolls for 1,600 UK & Ireland employees.
* Review and improve payroll processes for best practice & compliance.
* Act as Payroll Business Partner, providing proactive support to Brands.
* Communicate processes with Payroll/HR Managers in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
* Manage relationships with third‑party payroll vendors and maintain day‑to‑day service.
* Support budgeting and financial cycle delivery.
* Monitor accuracy, turnaround and service level agreement compliance.
* Use payroll metrics to identify improvement areas.
* Work closely with Benefits Manager on HMRC related topics.
* Process 300‑400 annual P11Ds and PSAs for each brand.
* Lead internal & external audits for new starters, leavers, salary increases and comparisons.
* Set up new payroll elements and coordinate costing set‑ups with finance.
* Deliver payroll element of company‑wide induction and education workshops.
* Support HRSS head on new initiatives and business model improvements.
* Lead, manage and supervise payroll team, setting objectives and planning activities.
* Provide direction across all payroll disciplines.
* Influence and motivate through positive engagement and employee development.
* Build strong business relationships to enhance service effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
* Experience managing multiple payrolls, ideally in retail.
* Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
* Drive, manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience in a complex matrixed organisation, managing multiple stakeholders.
* Curious, challenge current practices to instigate positive change.
* Lead an informed payroll team.
* Work in a fast‑paced environment, meet strict deadlines.
* Relevant degree or CIPP qualification.
