Apprentice Warden
Location : Berwick:upon:Tweed, TD15 1BN
Salary : A GBP 12.71 per hour
Contract : Permanent, 37 hours per week

Do you enjoy being outdoors? Interested in plants, green spaces and practical work? This is a great opportunity to start your career in horticulture while helping to keep one of the UKs most historic towns looking its best.
As our Apprentice Warden, youll join our friendly outside services team, supporting the upkeep of Berwicks play parks, floral displays and public spaces. Youll learn real skills from experienced colleagues while studying towards a RHS Level 2 Horticulture Operative apprenticeship with Northumberland College.
What youll be doing
* Helping with planting, pruning and watering
* Supporting seasonal displays and community planting projects
* Learning to use horticultural tools and equipment safely
* Wooden bench maintenance
* Working outdoors in all seasons as part of a supportive team
* Being a friendly, approachable presence in the community while working in public spaces

* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Commitment to attending college and completing the qualification
