Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale D: £12,772 to £12,985 pro-rata per annum (£23,500 - £23,893 per annum full time/full year equivalent)
Part Time: hours per week / 3 days (Tuesday to Thursday)
Working Weeks: Term Time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks)
Hethersett Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and reliable technician (science) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our department. The main responsibility of this role will be:
1. In accordance with practices and procedures of the school, ensure that a safe, effective and efficient laboratory technical service is provided for the use of pupils and teaching staff.
2. To provide technical advice and assistance in the classroom to support pupils and assist teaching staff with learning activities.

4. Scientific background, previous experience as a lab technician
5. Able to build good working relationships with stakeholders, working well with children and adults
6. Ability to work constructively and flexibly as part of a team
