Job Title: Jaguar Land Rover Technician
Full time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm Saturday morning on a rota basis
Position pays: £27,000 to £40,000 OTE (depending on level of experience)
Location: Jaguar Land Rover Newport
As a qualified Vehicle Technician you will be at the very heart of our customer experience, keeping them on the road so they can get safely from A to B and taking great pride in a job well done.
Working with a talented team and some of the best equipment in the business, youll repair, service and care for all kinds of vehicles - identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records and meet demanding quality and safety standards. Working to MOT and manufacturer standards, youll focus on delivering customer satisfaction and public safety as you minimise costs for the customer.

To apply for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
* Have completed an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent NVQ, BTEC or City & Guilds qualifications.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues within the Retailer and customers to explain complex repairs.
* Your dedication to maintaining your product knowledge, brand and industry knowledge by accepting mentoring and development opportunities.
* Checking level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment, self-quality checking and road testing of vehicles after the work has been carried out.
The ideal applicant will have some previous history of working in a retailer environment and experienced coaching and mentoring junior or less experienced team members. Practical knowledge of working on electric vehicles is desirable.
