The post holder, in conjunction with the trusts CERN best practice groups / clinical network, will lead and develop the Bolton locality CERN pathways across adult and older adult community teams, ensuring the pathways are complaint with best practice standards, providing expert support, guidance and development to the CERN senior practitioners within the teams.

Main duties of the job
1.Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support and consultation to the community teamsfor the management of CERN
2. Support care coordinators and MDTs in the management of cases as required.
3. Assess and develop formulations for the interventions for people with CERN in the community.
4.Provide therapeutic interventions for people with CERN, to include but not limited to Structured Clinical Management (SCM) and Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT).
5.Deputise for the Service Manager inhis/her absence and take on any delegated management duties asrequired.
rovide clinical supervision to Senior Practitioners for CERN and others requiring expert supervision as required.
7.Provide training to workforce and EBE on therapeutic interventions.
8.Ensure effective evaluation and development of the CERN pathway and servicedevelopments in line with the strategy.
9.Develop effective service interfaces.
10.Contribute/participate in group therapy for service users with CERN.
11.Lead a Reflective Practice Group and ensure provision of groups across the locality offer.
12.Identify training needs in the community teams.
13.Contribute to the development of the trust CERNstrategy.
14. Contribute to the Operational on Call and Operational on Site rotas (formerly known as the bronze on call/site).

7. •Registered Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or similar professional qualification.
Desirable criteria
8. •Masters level qualification •Evidence of post qualifying education.
Experience

9. •Demonstrable experience of working with this service user group
10. •Post registration experience of working in multi-disciplinary team in a clinical setting
11. •Evidence of post registration training / development
12. •Experience of participating in audit and an understanding of quality improvement, implementing PDSA cycles and action plans relating to the outcome of audits.
13. •Experience of service evaluation

15. •Experience of completing a training needs analysis and subsequent planning and deliver of training

21. •Facilitate a culture of life long learning, including involvement in the process of Appraisal, Knowledge Skills Framework, and Personal Development Plans
22. •Participate in and ensure provision of clinical supervision, both as supervisee and supervisor and an understanding of the Knowledge, Skills Framework under Agenda for Change
23. •Ensure compliance with policy, procedure and protocol, in consultation with the Service Managers, Operational Managers, other Senior Practitioners and Professional Leads
24. •Lead on and participate in multi-agency meetings Protection of Vulnerable Adults, Child Protection
25. •Understand the Clinical Governance agenda and provide representation in local groups supporting consultation and implementation.

Work Related Circumstances

29. •There is a frequent requirement to travel mainly within the locality in order to fulfil the responsibilities of the role and an occasional requirement to travel across the wide footprint of the Trust to attend meetings and events relevant to the role.
