STUDENT SUPPORT LEADER

* Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
* Salary Scale: NJC Point 7-11
* Actual Salary: £22,709 - £24,204

The Nicholas Hammond Academy is seeking a Student Support Leader to support students in the classroom within an Academy that strives for excellence.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated individual with a passion for supporting teaching and learning to become a member of our Pastoral Team. The successful candidate will manage and improve the behaviour and progress of students within the academy and support students in being ready to learn and in becoming happy, successful, and positive members of the academy community. This role will also involve supporting positive engagement between the academy and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and improve the behaviour and progress of students.
* Support students to be ready to learn and to become positive members of the academy community.
* Facilitate positive engagement between the academy, students, and families.
Qualifications
* Hold GCSE grades of 4/C+ in a range of subjects including English and Maths.
* Experience of working effectively in a learning or student care setting.
