Job Description
3. Oversee all invoice and payment processing, supervising the work of the Finance Assistant and covering the work during periods of leave
4. Manage the month-end close and reporting cycle, including key checks, reconciliations and journals
5. Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis for budget holder review
6. Prepare and submit statutory accounts, VAT returns, and other compliance reporting
7. Support working capital management and cashflow reporting
8. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of reporting packs
9. Maintain and reconcile financial ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
10. Assist in ongoing development and evolution of internal financial systems to improve efficiency and make best use of technology
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Finance Manager should:
11. Be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified
12. Have strong technical knowledge of financial accounting principles
13. Be a confident communicator with experience presenting financial data
14. Be proficient in Microsoft 365 and accounting systems
15. Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
16. Possess strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
