Are you an experienced Plant Fitter looking for a new challenge with a reputable and well-established company? Our client, a respected leader in the plant hire industry, is looking for aMobile Plant Fitterto join their team and help keep their fleet operating at peak performance across the Bristol Region.
The Role
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, youll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant machinery on-site and out in the field. This is a varied role with real autonomyno two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing and inspections on plant equipment
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Attend breakdowns in a timely and professional manner
* Complete job sheets and reports accurately
* Liaise with the service team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
About You
* Proven experience as a plant fitter, service engineer, or similar
* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, electrics, and diagnostics
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Self-motivated, reliable, and customer-focused
