UK & Scandinavia Support Operations Manager
We have a new vacancy in our Aberdeen support department and are looking for exciting new team members to join us in our Aberdeen office as a Support Engineer. We also have a new role opening in our support department with a more direct focus on offshore operations.

The job post:
At the core of our company group, you will join a team of 30+ support engineers worldwide, coming from diverse technical backgrounds. You will work alongside our customers both on-site and remotely to assist at every step of Exail product integration and operation. This role offers hands-on experience with the full range of Exail products.
We provide 24/7 support to our customers. The role is offshore industry-focused but also spans civil, scientific, and military applications. It’s a varied and challenging role that suits those looking for variety, adventure, and professional growth.

Your duties and responsibilities:
1. Represent Exail to customers both internally and externally.
2. Provide remote support to customers, including responding to hotline, email, and customer requests.
3. Document, analyze, report, resolve, and record customer claims in the database.
4. Provide on-site support, including in-situ maintenance and service operations.
5. Prepare, execute, debrief, report, and follow up on support activities.
6. Support customers within the EMEA region and occasionally outside.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to advance support cases.
8. Assist sales and project teams during pre-sale and post-sale activities.
9. Coordinate with the maintenance team for follow-up on maintenance tasks.
10. Work with product teams to improve knowledge and skills.
11. Participate in ongoing training on related products.
12. Improve back-office support procedures and tools continuously.
13. Share knowledge and develop skills within the team.
Travel: Up to 30% of the time, approximately 110 days per year.
Profile:
* At least 3 years of experience working with high-tech products.
* Experience or interest in inertial navigation, acoustic positioning, sonar systems, or related technologies.
* Customer-focused attitude with results-oriented mindset.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful with customers.
* Self-motivated, curious, able to work independently.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Multi-cultural awareness and experience.
