Senior Physiotherapist / Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist - Hertfordshire (Hemel Hempstead)
Description
We are looking for one more Physio to round out our fantastic team at our brand new state of the
art facility in Hemel Hempstead. Our ideal candidate would be a Physiotherapist with at least 4
years of experience, with a solid MSK base of knowledge and other areas of specialism are of
course desired.
This employed role has flexibility to work 40 hours per week (with some flexibility on total hours
and shift pattern) on a salary ranging from £35k - £45k pro-rata depending on experience and
skillset.
We offer continued development opportunities including our fortnightly in house CPD as well as
external course training budgets. A/L and sick leave included.

NHS and the Private sector as a Physiotherapist. In the NHS he found he was unable to give his
patients the standard of care they deserved due to short appointment times and limited
numbers of appointments available to patients, as well as patients having to wait a very long
time to see clinicians.
In the private sector he found that many practices were overly revenue focused, encouraging
practitioners to sell packages of care rather than treat the cause as efficiently as possible.
Michael wanted instead to form a practice that focused on treating patients how he himself
wished to be treated - by always putting the patients’ interests’ firsts, focusing on true care that
educated and empowered patients and always aimed to treat the cause of the issue not just the
symptoms. His approach focuses on a mixed stance of manual and exercise therapy with the
best current evidence-based treatments in mind.
Since opening Shawe Physio in 2015, the clinic has grown into an expert team of clinicians, with
MSK base qualifications, individual specialisms and mountains of great experience.

Responsibilities
Independently responsible for clinical caseload and insurance company reporting.
We provide an admin team to support with insurance company invoicing, payment handling and
rebooking patients.
Qualifications
Physiotherapy BSc (4 years+ post graduate experience)
