Senior Hospital Contract Executive
Contract: Hybrid Working options Available
Location: Bupa Place, Salford Quays or Willow House, Staines or Angel Court, London
Permanent Contract
Salary range: From £62,400 depending on experience
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week

The Senior Hospital Contract Executive manages contracts with and performance of larger hospital providers, developing provider relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, maintaining quality, and controlling costs. The role also involves leading healthcare reform initiatives impacting hospitals and collaborating across the Healthcare Management team.
How you'll help us make health happen :
* Manage contracts and performance of 5 to 10 hospital providers with a spend of £50m to £100m annually.
* Support healthcare pathway improvements and strategic initiatives with providers.
* Build and manage relationships with hospital providers to meet Bupa’s priorities.
* Review proposals for new sites and services.
* Negotiate and establish contracts and pricing schedules.
* Secure sign-off for renewals and deals, ensuring governance and compliance.
* Monitor hospital costs and performance, resolving issues proactively.
* Identify and manage risks in hospital contracts.
* Ensure hospital invoices comply with contracts and resolve discrepancies.
* Handle contractual queries and disputes.
* Maintain records of meetings, negotiations, and disputes.
* Collaborate with internal teams and act as a role model and coach.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
* Strong commercial, analytical, and numeracy skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in healthcare or complex multi-service environments.
* Degree or equivalent experience.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proven track record of delivering performance improvements.
* Energetic, positive attitude, and team-oriented.
