About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial background to join our team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing both multiple concurrent projects and individual high-value schemes, with typical project values ranging from £3 million to £8 million, delivered over 6 to 12 month programmes.
You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, while managing subcontractor packages, cost planning, valuations, and variations for high-spec commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full commercial management of M&E projects valued £3m–£8m.

Manage multiple projects concurrently and single major schemes.
*
Cost planning, tendering, and procurement of M&E packages.
*
Prepare and manage interim valuations, change control and final accounts.
*
Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial goals are achieved.
*
Monitor project performance, profitability, and risk.
*
Ensure compliance with contract conditions and client requirements.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the M&E and commercial construction sector.
*
Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems in building services.
*
Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities.
*
Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HND/Degree preferred).
