The Role
1. Responsible for generating sales of their range of instrumentation.
2. Build and maintain customer and prospect relationships within the UK and Northern Ireland.
3. Ensure that the products are made available in the market by analysing customer trends and developing sales plans and strategies to meet their needs.
4. Prepare, discuss, and agree on quarterly business plans for the sales region with senior management.
5. Report weekly sales pipeline to the Head of Business Development.
6. Maintain sales leads, opportunities, and quotations in the CRM tool.
7. Hold regular meetings with all UK customers and prospects, fostering and maintaining these relationships.
8. Examine existing sales to identify missing sales opportunities.
9. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to existing and prospective customers.
10. Prepare quotations for customers.
11. Maintain a professional awareness of competitors’ product developments.
12. Attend product training days as required for all equipment.
The Candidate
1. Engineering qualifications.
2. Proven track record of technical sales in engineering.
3. Ability to generate new business, chase leads, and develop own business plans.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Willingness to travel to customer sites.
The Package
Up to £40k basic plus uncapped commission.
