Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Manager to oversee and coordinate installation projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Fenestration/construction and have hands-on experience with a range of installation tasks. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, as you will be managing a team of installers while ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise installation teams on/off-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
* Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress.
* Oversee the installation of roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and other construction elements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control and safety regulations are met.
* Manage the procurement of materials and tools necessary for installations, including hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
* Provide training and support to team members in various skills including carpentry, plastering, masonry, and construction painting.
* Review schematics and project plans to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process and implement effective solutions promptly.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the construction industry or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and general construction practices.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Familiarity with fabrication techniques and ability to read schematics accurately.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
