We are looking for a warm, caring, and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join an early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children and supporting their development in a nurturing and engaging environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Nursery Assistant:
* Support the daily routines and activities of the nursery
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
* Assist with the planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning opportunities
* Provide care, comfort, and support to children, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met
* Work closely with nursery staff to monitor and record children's progress
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Ideal Nursery Assistant:
* Experience working in an early years setting (nursery, crèche, or similar)
* A gentle, patient, and friendly manner
* A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Assistant.
* A commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
* A relevant Level 2/3 childcare qualification (preferred but not essential)
