We have an opportunity with our client, an international law firm, who is looking for a Real Estate Lawyer to support their team for 3 months!!
Job Title: Corporate Real Estate Lawyer (1- 5 PQE)
Corporate M&A deals in the RE sector predominantly work with Private Equity Fund managers. Expertise/experience in funds is a bonus.
Client: A global law firm.
Description:
* Working with a partner and/or senior associates on corporate real estate M&A transactions.
* Supporting joint venture transactions and club deals.
* Liaising with other departments in the firm on transactions and obtaining advice from overseas counsel on cross-border transactions.
* Working in conjunction with a partner on structuring, establishing and running private investment funds in the United Kingdom and offshore jurisdictions.
* Drafting and negotiating documents to help clients achieve their business goals.
* Managing matters and reviewing the work of more junior team members.
* Managing and developing existing client relationships with the relevant client relationship partner and actively getting involved in the Firm’s marketing business development work.
* Assisting with the development of templates and other know-how, and presenting at internal and external events to contribute to the Firm’s knowledge.
* You will build your legal knowledge by attending know-how meetings, conducting research and reading journals and legal updates.
Experienced Required:
* Experience working on joint ventures and indirect real estate transactions, as well as general funds advisory support.
* Work will be in the wider real estate sector, and so an interest in the asset class would be helpful.
* Commercial and analytical skills, and the ability to apply them to create innovative and commercial solutions
* Strong communication skills with the ability to foster strong client relationships.
* Solid understanding of the drivers of profitability.
* You will be proactive and positive with a strong team focus and a collaborative approach.
