Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to recruit for an Internal Salesperson based in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company experiencing significant local and international growth. This role will provide a diverse and fast paced working environment with an extensive product range. You will be responsible for interacting with customers and upselling to increase sales. Key Responsibilities: Receive orders through e-mail and telephone, verify and enter products, explain stock-outs and expected delivery dates. Increase orders by suggesting related items, explaining features and checking customers buying history. Own, qualify and develop opportunities passed from external sales, marketing and accounts. Prepare, generate and follow up on quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order. Review and manage open orders and take action including those that may be at risk of not meeting promised delivery dates. Maintain distribution system backorder report, customer expediting report and notices, and customer notification. Report competitive pricing and customer feedback to management. Applicants will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Internal sales or a relevant role and be well versed in dealing with customers, and upselling. You will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills.
