About the Role
We're looking for an inspiring Security Manager to lead our dedicated security team and help create an exceptional, safe experience for every guest who visits our park. In this pivotal role, you will oversee day‑to‑day security operations, ensuring our environment is welcoming, secure, and runs smoothly.
You will take the lead in recruiting, training, and developing your team – empowering them to deliver outstanding service and support across the park.
Responsibilities
* Plan resource levels to ensure the park has the required level of security.
* Utilise security team members to patrol the park effectively, providing a deterrent and preventing incidents where necessary.
* Ensure compliance with security assignment instructions.
* Manage incidents and situations, ensuring correct escalation and reporting.
* Manage security technology and CCTV.
* Carry out full and unbiased investigations, providing detailed statements and reports, and ensuring that all security activity is recorded appropriately.
* Use the on‑park systems to review security data.
* Identify and manage security vulnerabilities and risks to the park.
* Liaise with local enforcement authorities for routine inspections and investigations.
* Attend management and regional meetings to promote security awareness to colleagues.
* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement.
* Conduct regular 1:1s and team briefings to keep team engaged, efficient, and effective.
Qualifications
* Experience managing a team.
* Current SIA licence (Minimum Door Supervision) and a full clean UK driving licence (Manual Car).
* Excellent customer service skills; confident to communicate and influence.
* Ability to drive a positive security culture within a team and manage and develop team members.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to manage a budget and rota.
* Ability to manage a high‑pressure, fast‑paced work environment.
