An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading companies in the facilities industry.
They currently maintain a number of facilities and maintenance contracts across the UK and are looking for a Technical Services Manager to work on a high-profile contract based in Central London.
The building itself is truly unique and offers a totally different working environment.
The Technical Services Manager role is a new position and will be responsible for liaising between the client's project team and the service providers' maintenance team, ensuring long-term projects are delivered with minimal disruption.
The duties of the role include:
* Managing all technical issues across the building related to ongoing project works.
* Issuing permits to work.
* Managing agreed KPIs and SLAs.
* Overseeing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site.
* Planning and implementing shutdowns.
* Managing reports.
* Responsible for the permit system.
Applicants must demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:
* Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND, or higher.
* Strong understanding of building management systems.
* Strong technical engineering knowledge.
* Experience managing contractors.
* Experience delivering services in high-profile financial offices or critical data centres.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and clients.
* Ability to manage and prioritize a demanding and varying workload.
