Overview
Postdoctoral Researcher in mechanistic biology – Salary £41,344 per annum. MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK.
Responsibilities
* Join Lori Passmore’s group to study mRNA 3’ end processing.
* Build on recent advances in reconstituting the yeast and human machineries and on recent cryoEM structures from the group.
* Use cryoEM and other methods to investigate the structure and mechanisms of the mRNA 3’-end processing machinery.
* Work as part of a friendly and supportive team in an Institute renowned for its facilities and high-quality research.
Qualifications
* PhD in a relevant subject (or due to complete within 6 months).
* Expertise in structural biology and protein complexes.
