Mechanical Engineer
Location: Dungannon
We're looking for a proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team and keep our production lines running at their best. You'll work independently, solve complex mechanical issues, and support continuous improvement across a fast-paced food manufacturing site.
What You'll Do
* Deliver hands-on welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs
* Work with mechanical drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and complete key documentation
* Diagnose faults and re-engineer equipment to improve performance
* Provide technical support and advice to production teams
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Time/skill-served Mechanical Engineer with industrial experience
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
* Experience in welding, fabrication, and mechanical drive systems
* Confident decision-making and good reasoning skills
Desirable:
* Food or poultry processing experience
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Strong communication, organisation, and initiative
