Deputy Shift Leader / Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine role at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. Join a Trauma Centre environment in the Emergency Department to provide clinical and managerial leadership and deliver high-quality patient care to a complex caseload.
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Nurse with the ability to lead a designated clinical area (majors, minors, resus) and contribute to daily ED operations, flow, capacity, and Trust goals.
Responsibilities
* Lead a designated clinical area within the Emergency Department (majors, minors, resus) and take on aspects of managerial responsibility.
* Provide clinical leadership in A&E with substantial experience at Band 5 or above.
* Manage day-to-day ED operations, including patient flow and capacity, and guide the team to deliver Trust objectives.
* Demonstrate drive, commitment, and a strong sense of leadership to deliver excellent patient-centred care.
* Evidence achievements and development plans for practice through a professional portfolio as part of the selection process.
Qualifications
* First level degree.
* Mentorship qualification (preferred).
* TNCC or ATNC provider status (preferred).
