The Role
My client is looking to recruit an experienced facilities engineer. You will have completed a formal apprenticeship in engineering with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance. The position is based on days, requiring a proactive maintenance engineer with experience across all facilities, including plant machinery, checks, civil works, boilers, refrigeration & HVAC equipment, fire alarms, sprinklers, plumbing, and general maintenance work. You will work within planned and preventative maintenance schedules and assist production when required. The role demands a logical approach to maintenance and leadership qualities when necessary. There are also long-term opportunities to develop technically and grow the role in line with your aspirations.
