Job Description
Type A is looking for an experienced digital PR manager to deliver link worthy creative campaigns for a handful of clients.
The applicant will have experience working with blue chip companies and SMEs alike and understand agency procedures and frameworks to deliver client work.
The role is 50/50 strategy and delivery. It will require you to help set digital PR strategy for your clients and work with a junior team to hit client link targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for client and staff success with regular work including:
* running ideation sessions and coming up with great campaign ideas
* working with data, creative and development to get data journalism assets created
* quality assurance on junior members work
* hitting client KPIs and reporting on campaign success
* building relationships with journalists and pitching ideas
* writing press releases
Hybrid Working
You must be based on London and be able to work from our Farringdon office 2 days a week.
Experience
You should be:
* familiar with pitching content and data stories to journalists
* able to come up with great ideas and angles for data stories
* experienced in managing PR workflow and organising team tasks
* able to win linked coverage in mainstream media
* familiar with tools like buzzstream, muckrack and response source
Interview Process
The interview process is in 3 parts:
* Initial 30 minute informal call
* A PR test done on your own time
* Final interview to present your test
