Overview
Registered Manager – Children’s Home at Homes2Inspire located in Henlade, Somerset (TA3). The home is already rated Good by Ofsted and supported by a stable, experienced team who are passionate about what they do. As Registered Manager you will be an inspirational role model for the children and a supportive, motivating leader for your staff, with scope to grow within an ambitious and forward‑thinking partnership.
Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and support your team to deliver excellent care every day.
* Ensure the home is safe, nurturing and truly feels like a place to belong.
* Take the lead in care planning, reviews and work closely with social workers, schools and other professionals.
* Ensure the home meets Ofsted requirements and achieve positive inspection outcomes.
* Manage safeguarding, health and safety, record‑keeping and compliance with legislation.
* Celebrate achievements, guide through challenges and create opportunities for fun and growth.
* Support staff development through supervision, training and performance reviews.
* Build strong relationships with external partners, families (where appropriate) and the wider community.
* Manage the home’s budget and resources effectively.
* Lead by example, showing the team how to balance structure, consistency and warmth in daily care.
About the Partnership
Homes2Inspire, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Somerset Council have joined forces to create safe, nurturing homes for children and young people in Somerset who have faced significant trauma and challenges. Our Henlade home is part of a wider development across the county, which includes children’s homes, therapeutic education, CAMHS and high‑needs foster carers. Homes2Inspire already operates over 50 homes across the UK and is known for consistently achieving high standards of care.

Qualifications
* Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
* At least two years’ recent experience in a supervisory or management role within a registered children’s home.
* Strong understanding of legislation and Ofsted regulations that guide children’s homes.
* Strong skills in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
* Confidence in collaborating with the Responsible Individual and wider strategic partners.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Enhanced DBS check (funded by Homes2Inspire).

Job Details
Job Type: Full‑time (Contract). Work Location: In person. Salary: Up to £63,300 per year. Pay: Up to £53,300 per annum + £10,000 performance‑related bonus.
