Sales Manager – Specialist Tailor-Made Travel
This established travel company is known for designing exceptional, wildlife focused and adventure led journeys to some of the world’s most remarkable destinations. Their team of specialists create highly personalised itineraries that bring travellers closer to the natural world, delivering experiences that are immersive, meaningful and truly unforgettable. They are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take the lead of their specialist sales team. This is a pivotal role, combining people leadership with commercial responsibility to ensure outstanding client service and strong sales performance. Competitive salary plus bonus and hybrid working.

Sales Manager – Role & Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate and support a team of sales specialists, ensuring high standards of service and performance.

Set clear revenue and margin targets, tracking progress and taking action to optimise results.

Foster a positive, accountable and service driven team culture.

Oversee the full sales process, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and clients receive exceptional, personalised support.

Step in to manage complex or sensitive client situations with professionalism and care.

Maintain a strong understanding of pricing, margins and commercial drivers to support effective decision making.

Work collaboratively with Product, Marketing and Partnerships teams to ensure sales activity aligns with wider business goals.

Contribute ideas to enhance product offering, supplier relationships and internal processes.

Produce accurate reporting and share insights with senior leadership to support planning and strategy.

Sales Manager – Skills & Experience Required:

Experience leading a sales team within a luxury or specialist tour operator.

Strong commercial awareness, with confidence managing revenue, margins and pricing.

A supportive and inspiring leadership style, with excellent communication skills.

Calm, organised and solutions focused, able to handle pressure and adapt when needed.

A genuine passion for creating exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences to worldwide destinations.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Collaborative, proactive and committed to contributing positively to team culture.
