Key Responsibilities for a Wood Machinist:
* Operate woodworking machinery (Planer, Thicknesser, Spindle Moulder, Tenoner, Saws, etc.)
* Produce both bespoke and high-volume joinery components
* Read and follow technical drawings and written instructions
* Work with the team to determine best machining methods and tooling
* Report discrepancies before production begins
Key Skills for a wood Machinist:
* Proven experience as a Wood Machinist
* Strong joinery and machining skills
* Ability to read technical drawings
* NVQ or City & Guilds in Wood Machining- desirable
* Experience with CNC machinery- desirable
