Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Huddersfield and Todmorden
Salary From: £28,496 - £31,200

We're looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join one of the clients and help shape brighter futures for the children in our care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with residential childcare experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership and progress toward management.
What You\'ll Be Doing
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you\'ll play a vital leadership role in the home, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care and support.
* Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with children and young people, supporting them to develop confidence, independence, and self-worth.
* Lead shifts and oversee day-to-day operations within the home, ensuring care plans, risk assessments, and routines are followed.
* Provide guidance, supervision, and support to Residential Support Workers.
* Promote and support education, personal development, and emotional wellbeing for all children.
* Safeguard and advocate for the children at all times, ensuring their safety and welfare are the top priority.
* Support the management team by contributing to staff rotas, policies, and reviews.
What We\'re Looking For
* Age 22 years or older.
* Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People\'s Workforce (or equivalent).
* At least 2 years\' experience in residential childcare.
* Holds a full manual UK driving licence.
* Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and safeguarding awareness.
