The role involves managing, supporting, and guiding a small team within the Care Services team.
Main Duties
As a Care Supervisor, your focus will be to ensure Avery’s processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards, putting residents’ choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety at the core of all care and support activity. Responsibilities include delivering high‑quality person‑centred care, closely monitoring and reporting on residents’ daily progress, dealing with concerns or complaints in a prompt and appropriate manner, and providing ongoing support for residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

Job Responsibilities – Care Supervisor
* Shift pattern: Day shift – 12 hours a day, Monday to Sunday, with flexibility required to suit business needs.
* Promote and deliver high‑quality person‑centred care for residents.
* Closely monitor and report on residents’ daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded.
* Deal with concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt, and appropriate manner as soon as they occur.
* Provide ongoing support for residents, their families, and the Care Services Team.

Qualifications – Essential
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* Recognised medication administration qualification and experience.
* Previous experience in a senior care role.
* Demonstrable ability in organising, leading, inspiring, and influencing a team.
