Job Description
A growing residential property developer and investor is seeking a Finance Associate to take ownership of debt application, case management, and funding processes across its expanding North West portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business in a high-growth phase, where you’ll play a central role in managing lender relationships, progressing funding cases, and ensuring smooth execution across multiple live and pipeline developments.
What’s on Offer
* Salary of £35,000 – £42,000
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
* Pension contribution
* Hybrid working (including 1 day from home)
* Clear progression opportunities as the business scales
* High-autonomy role with direct exposure to senior stakeholders
The Role
You’ll act as the go-to person for all debt-related activity, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of funding cases while building and refining the internal processes that support them. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role with real ownership from day one.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the full debt application lifecycle, from initial submission through to credit approval, legal process, and drawdown
* Owning case management across multiple SPVs, ensuring each funding line progresses efficiently and on time
* Acting as the primary point of contact for lenders, solicitors, and brokers—driving applications forward and resolving queries
* Monitoring and managing conditions precedent, covenants (ICR, LTV), and reporting deadlines, ensuring full compliance
* Producing and maintaining a live loan book and case tracker, giving clear visibility on application status, funding stages, and key risks
* Coordinating documentation, including facility agreements, supporting information, and due diligence requirements
* Supporting the refinement of debt processes, systems, and trackers to improve efficiency and scalability
* Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure financial data and appraisals align with funding requirements
What You’ll Bring
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance, banking, or property finance
* Strong exposure to debt applications, case management, or lending processes
* Experience dealing with lenders, brokers, or legal processes (highly desirable)
* Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build and manage trackers and reporting tools
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple live cases simultaneously
* Strong communication skills, particularly when handling external stakeholders
What Makes You Stand Out
* You thrive in process-driven environments and naturally bring structure to complex funding workflows
* You’re proactive—keeping cases moving and resolving blockers before they impact timelines
* You’re highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple applications at different stages
* You bring a case management mindset, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
Why Apply?
This isn’t just a finance role—it’s an opportunity to take ownership of a critical function within a scaling property business, directly impacting how projects are funded and delivered.
If you’re looking to specialise in debt, funding, and case management within a high-growth environment, this role offers both responsibility and progression.
