Software Support Engineer – Preston – Hybrid working

This advanced solutions provider requires a driven and self‑motivated Software Support Engineer to join its busy technical services team. Based in Preston and operating a hybrid working model, the key to this role is customer service – you will be a good communicator with plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
* Software support for critical business systems of business customers
* Deployment & configuration of software applications, meeting customer requirements and delivering error‑free deployment and configuration
* Handling customer incidents, problems and requests within strict Service Level Agreements
* Answer questions from customers about the features and capabilities of the supported applications
Qualifications & Skills
* Ability to multi‑task in a pressure‑ised environment
* Knowledge and experience of software deployment
* Problem analysis and solving
* Supporting bespoke applications
* Knowledge and experience of system monitoring solutions
* Excellent communication skills whilst developing effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
* SQL database experience is advantageous
