Lettings Administrator
Location: Kettering
Full time - Monday - Friday 09:00 - 14:30 and 1 in 3 Saturdays
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Lettings Administrator to support our fast-paced lettings team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the lettings process from initial enquiry to move-in and beyond.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the lettings team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
* Prepare and issue tenancy documentation including tenancy agreements, renewals, and addendums.
* Manage applicant references, right-to-rent checks, and compliance paperwork.
* Coordinate property viewings, move-ins, and move-outs with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
* Maintain and update property records and databases (CRM systems).
* Liaise with landlords and tenants to provide updates and resolve queries promptly.
* Process tenancy deposits and ensure compliance with deposit protection legislation.
* Support marketing efforts by uploading property listings, photos, and descriptions to online portals.
* Assist in preparing monthly reports and lettings performance data.
* Ensure all lettings activities comply with current legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a lettings, property, or administrative role (preferred).
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confident IT skills
* Knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance (desirable but not essential).
* A proactive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
