About the role
The role will be managing the global inventory levels for a set of spare parts. This role is office based in Basingstoke and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring >99% spare parts availability for breakdown
Key responsibilities will include
* Regular review of parts identified as needing to be stocked as spares
* Regular review and optimisation of stock levels for each part based on historical usage and forecast
* Maintaining stock levels in each warehouse
* Coordinating inbound and outbound spare parts/returns shipments
* Maintaining and publishing KPI's ( supported by the team)
* Highlighting and escalating where stock levels are low or there is a stock out.
* Management of purchase orders as required to support the purchasing team
* Running reports in ERP system (Sage), to maintain stock levels in global warehouses
* Analysing reports and use data to support on time delivery data to customers
Essential Skills & Experience
* Inventory management/warehousing
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Experienced in a manufacturing environment
* Confident in dealing with 3rd party suppliers
* Supplier relationships & purchase order processing
* Reporting experience i.e. Excel, Power BI, or ERP systems
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experienced using Sage200
* Global warehousing stocking experience
* Excel intermediate skills e.g. vlookup
