Job Opportunity: Billing Specialist
We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of our firm. The right individual for this role will work with Holland & Knight’s Partners and their assistants to generate monthly client invoices/bills. The position offers the flexibility to work from home, with periodic in-office presence for monthly team meetings, events, and training. The role can be based at our operation center in Brandon, FL (Tampa Bay area), or at one of our practice offices in Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Birmingham, Boston, Charlotte, Houston, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, Stamford, Tampa, Tysons, or Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle all aspects of the billing process efficiently.
2. Respond promptly to the Firm’s Partners’ needs.
3. Work effectively in a detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
4. Exercise good judgment in all tasks.
5. Maintain excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
6. Interact professionally with the Firm’s Partners and colleagues.
7. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* 2-5 years of professional work experience post-college.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Proficient in MS Office and accounting functions.
* GPA higher than 3.0 preferred.
