Are you an experienced vehicle fleet sales professional with a strong background in business development? Our client is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join their team, covering the Kent area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage large fleet accounts, develop new business, and work within a reputable company that values its staff.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients and uncovering new sales opportunities across the UK. This position offers hybrid working options, combining remote work with in-branch visits making it a flexible and rewarding role for a proactive sales professional.

Benefits for the Business Development Manager:
1. Uncapped commission potential earning up to £60,000 OTE
2. Remote working combined with in-branch responsibilities at Sittingbourne
3. Company car, laptop, and phone provided
4. Out on the road door knocking and developing new business opportunities
5. Hours of work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 with flexibility for appointments
Duties of the Business Development Manager:
6. Manage existing large fleet accounts with 30+ vehicles, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
7. Develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across Kent and the South of England
8. Present and promote a diverse portfolio of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) to prospective clients
9. Collaborate with internal teams to meet ambitious sales targets
10. Provide tailored fleet solutions to meet customer needs and expand market share
Requirements of the Business Development Manager:
11. Previous experience in vehicle fleet sales and business development within the motor trade is essential
12. Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative sales approach
13. Deep knowledge of the LCV and fleet market
14. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working across a regional territory
15. Full UK driving licence is essential
16. A proven track record in managing large fleet accounts and generating new business
