Accounts Assistant | £30,000 - £35,000 | Preston Hybrid | Fast-paced, acquisitive business | Fantastic team and office culture Axon Moore are delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a high-growth business in their search for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is looking to take end-to-end ownership of processes and add value to the business. This role is well suited to chatty and personable candidates who are looking to grow alongside a business which boasts a great working culture and flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Managing the end-to-end purchase ledger process Performing weekly supplier payment runs, including ad hoc payments as required Processing weekly employee expense claims and reconciling expense control accounts Daily bank reconciliations Supporting the intercompany recharge process Reviewing processes for efficiency and implementing continuous improvement initiatives Supporting the maintenance of the accounting ledger, finance systems and expense management systems Assisting with month-end journal preparation and processing Providing ad-hoc expense analysis as required Responding to invoice and expense queries in a timely manner Supporting both internal and external audit requirements as needed Other ad-hoc duties Required Skills and Experience: At least 3 years’ experience within a finance role Strong IT and Excel skills (Sage/SAP desired) An ability to meet deadlines and efficiently prioritise workload Positive and can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach to work An ability to work collaboratively and independently Excellent attention to detail Great written and verbal communication Benefits: 36 days annual leave allowance (inc.
