Established in 2009, our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy who work across a wide range of sectors, including property development, construction, investment and divestment, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, planning, energy, architecture, and hospitality.
They are seeking a collaborative and motivated Ecologist to join their expanding team in the North of England.
Your new role
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
* Leading a diverse range of habitat and protected species surveys
* Producing high-quality reports, including PEAs, EcIAs, and management plans
* Providing planning, mitigation, and licencing advice to clients
* Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to team development
* Working with purpose-led clients across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and development
* Driving innovation in biodiversity net gain, nature-based solutions, and ecological strategy
What you'll need to succeed
1. Minimum of 4 years' experience in ecological consultancy
2. Strong field skills, with expertise in protected species identification and mitigation
3. Excellent report writing and communication skills
4. Full UK driving licence
