We are currently seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well established South West Contractor, responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile plant equipment across multiple sites in Cornwall and Devon. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while being part of a skilled and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment to ensure peak performance.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
* Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate repair schedules and minimise downtime.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and parts used.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
* Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced colleagues when required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in mobile plant maintenance and repair.
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
* Full UK driving license is essential as work vehicle provided.
