What you will be doing
As a qualified Physical Health Nurse, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of the physical health needs of service users, support colleagues, and promote teamwork with multidisciplinary teams such as GPs and other health departments.
You will monitor observations and assessments to identify and document actions needed.
Responsibilities include:
* Adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct and local, Trust, and national standards.
* Developing and supporting evidence-based physical health interventions.
* Participating in practice development, evaluation, and audit activities related to physical healthcare.
* Collaborating with primary health services, GPs, and other departments.
* Monitoring and maintaining Physical Health Dashboards.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A relevant nursing qualification and registration.
* Phlebotomy skills.
* Strong team-working skills.
* High self-motivation and flexibility.
* Caring, compassionate attitude.
* Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.
* Understanding of physical health needs for individuals with mental health difficulties.
