CAD Technician
Location: Leeds, LS25
Hours: Full:time, Monday:Friday 8.30am : 5.30pm
A GBP 30,000 : A GBP 35,000 per annum
Permanent Office based role
Commutable from Selby, York, Leeds, Castleford, Pontefract, Garforth, Wetherby or Tadcaster
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail:oriented CAD professional who enjoys working in a fast:paced project environment and can manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD
* Interpret project specifications and translate them into detailed CAD drawings
* Work closely with technical, operations, and project teams to meet project requirements
* Revise and update drawings in line with feedback and project changes
* Maintain organised digital drawing files and technical documentation
* Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and specifications
* Support continuous improvement of CAD processes and best practices
Requirements
* Proven experience using AutoCAD in a professional environment
* Strong understanding of technical drawing principles
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
