About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. You will work on premium and performance vehicles, carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and occasional MOTs. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a structured Monday–Friday schedule, and is seeking long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of premium vehicles
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults using modern automotive diagnostic tools
* Conduct MOTs alongside the MOT tester
* Carry out engine, gearbox, brake, clutch, suspension, and exhaust repairs
* Undertake preventive maintenance and manufacturer-recommended checks
* Perform vehicle health checks and advise customers on service requirements
* Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards efficiently
* Support the workshop team with technical guidance and problem-solving
* Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and manufacturer standards
* Keep the workshop clean, organised, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations
About You
* Fully qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
* Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
* Experience working on premium, luxury, or high-performance vehicles
* Reliable, motivated, and professional with a positive attitude
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle a busy workshop environment
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly
