We are seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse for a full-time role at our mixed NHS/Private practice in the beautiful village of Broseley.
We will register the ideal candidate on a Dental Nurse course however we will also consider candidates who may already be registered for a Dental Nurse apprentice position.

We are a busy two surgery fully computerised practice using SOE software, digital x rays, as well as an intraoral scanner. We are looking for a well organised hard working team player to join our friendly team.

The role of an apprentice dental nurse is to assist the dentist / hygienist with all clinical aspects within the surgery including:
* Greet and care for all patients in a polite and courteous manner at all times
* Work closely with the dentist/hygienist in a professional and appropriate manner
* Provide chair side assistance during all treatments
* Update computer records
* Cleaning surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls
* Preparing instruments and materials during treatments
* Carry out reception and administrative tasks where required
* The successful candidate must be reliable, organised, with good communication skills, computer literate, and keen to learn
* You must be of a smart and professional appearance at all times and have a positive attitude
* Be a team player, always willing to help the team as a whole succeed
* A willingness to learn
* Be willing to work towards an NVQ in Level 3 in Dental Nursing
* Regular undertaking of continued professional development

GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
