Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Familial Cancer Care, working closely with our Consultants for Familial Cancer, you will lead patient management for those at genetic risk of cancer. Your role combines counselling on surveillance and risk-reducing surgery with coordination of care pathways and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will manage your own caseload, ensure timely surveillance, and support patients through surgery and recovery.
Strong communication, organisational skills, and clinical expertise are essential, alongside the ability to work across teams and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
