Salary
Hourly rate from £13.50 ph - whilst training. Increasing to £14.00 after training, then rising to £14.50 ph after one years service.
Plus extra £1ph for unsociable hours.
A 50p ph enhancement for all hours worked over 44 hours per week.

5. Annual earnings of £29,160 following completion of training based on 40 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
6. Shift patterns of5 days over 7 working a mix of shifts including early/ middle and late

No experience driving a bus? No problem! We’ll pay you to train whilst we invest significantly in your training. You’ll gain your PCV licence as part of our Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, which will equip you with everything you need to not only succeed but flourish on the road. The apprenticeship gives you a structured training programme and an externally recognised qualification, with no impact on your role, pay or hours. All we ask for is a great attitude to learning, a genuine desire to make a positive difference to people’ s daily lives, a passion for exceptional customer experience and a full UK driving licence.

At our Ecclesfield depot, we operate a fleet of 58 buses covering the areas of Sheffield and Barnsley with a team of 155 Drivers.

What will you be doing?
13. Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development which form part of gaining your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship

What do you need to apply?
19. You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
20. Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement)
21. A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
22. Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
23. A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
