My client, a growing financial services business is seeking a high-calibre Junior Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a broad role combining traditional management accounting responsibilities with support for the investment team, providing excellent exposure to both finance and commercial operations.
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious part-qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Post journals, accruals and prepayments, and perform balance sheet reconciliations
* Support month-end reporting and variance analysis
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
* Produce management information and ad hoc financial analysis
* Support the investment team with reporting and analysis of investment activities
* Monitor investment pipeline performance and prepare related reports
* Contribute to process improvements and maintain strong financial control
Candidate Requirements
* Degree from a Russell Group university
* Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACCA
* Strong analytical and Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Proactive and organised approach to work
Previous finance experience is required, but industry background is open. Candidates from financial services, professional services, industry or practice environments will be considered.
