Overview

Assistant Management Accountant role at Tempcover. Hybrid: 2 days per week in-office.

About The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team who will support operational finance and reporting, with a focus on embedding finance processes and controls and aligning with RVU policies. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll contribute to the month end process and the preparation of financial statements, with opportunities for development and exposure as they arise.


What You'll Be Doing

* Preparing and posting accurate journal entries for various financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
* Assisting with posting of financial transactions to the general ledger, ensuring correct categorisation and recording.
* Supporting the preparation and maintenance of cash flow forecasts, providing visibility into liquidity and future financial position.
* Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany reconciliations.
* Supporting the Finance Manager and wider finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
