HGV1 Driver - Fulltime
Driving a Class 1 curtain side, double decker or box trailer vehicle in a safe manner, Delivering Caged or palletised goods to stores, ensuring that the loads are secured correctly and that the goods are delivered on time, offloaded in the correct manner, paperwork is signed, and any agreed waste or cages is collected to be returned.
Provide excellent customer service at all times and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
Attend essential training in order to carry out the Driver role.
Scanning deliveries at delivery points using company scanners
Must have valid in date Class 1 licence
Must hold Digital tachograph card
Must have good communication skills and a flexible can do attitude to work
